Fast Bike BattlesRoad Rash is a competition game for Electronic Arts that includes street bike racing with battles against other riders and the police. Six different ports were released on all gaming platforms in the 90’s. This version is the PC port that had realistic graphics at the time. It has simple racing mechanisms where the motorcycle is held on the same horizontal axis as it rotates by moving left or right. Physics affects how the bike moves in steep turns, slopes, hills and uneven terrain, so players can use the terrain to jump long distances or be hit by mistake. All drivers including the player have a resistance bar and running out of resistance will cause a Wipeout. Players can injure competing drivers, but must be careful that obstacles or attacks hit them. They can steal weapons by punching or kicking competing pilots, some of whom are clusters of cattle, chains, clubs, levers, nunchaku and pipes. The police would also try to catch followers. Everyone caught by the police will be picked up and the race will end for them. By completing races, players can purchase upgrades or a new bike.
